DENTISTS CAN SAVE 5 TO 10 MINUTES OF CHAIR-TIME ON THEIR NEXT LIGHT-CURED COMPOSITE

HARD TO BELIEVE?

Please look at the following photographs

Before
Lower right first molar exhibiting gross caries on the mesial-buccal (MB) cusp tip with occlusal caries and decalcification.

Imagine replacing the MB cusp and the occlusal surface with light-cured composite that requires mimimal finishing and no polishing while easily saving 5 to 10 minutes of chair-time.  Hard to believe?  Please look at the next photograph.

After

Immediately after light-curing there was some flash on the lingual surface adjacent to the lingual developmental groove.  This photograph is immediately after removing the lingual flash.  No polishing was necessary.  This restoration was entirely completed by a senior dental student using the Clear Custom Matrix Technique.

Learn how you can easily place extremely natural-looking posterior composites with minimal finishing and no polishing, saving 5 to 10 minutes on each composite you place.  This web site shows how you can do this.  If you have any questions, please use the Contact Us tab on the left.

Before
Patient attending graduate school in the United States had 12 posterior composites very nicely placed in Germany.  Lower left second premolar has recurrent caries at the cervical of proximal box and needs to be replaced.

After
Immediately after light-curing.  There is some flash noted on the distal lingual, but the occlusal surface is hard and smooth and needs no polishing.  The flash is easily removed with a #12 blade.  This placement was entirely completed by a senior dental student.  Interestingly, when the patient was dismissed, she mentioned to the dental student.  "How can you do this so quickly?  My dentists took a long time to shape and smooth my fillings."  This is what you can expect from using the Clear Custom Matrix Technique, easily saving 5 to 10 minutes of chair-time on each composite you place.
